1 How do I access my agent results? First go to my.monster.co.uk and login to your My Monster account with your username and password. This will take you through to your My Monster home page. From here there are 2 ways to view your agents. The quickest is to scroll down the page until you see your agent names under the heading 'My Job search Agents'. To view the results for an agent simply click on the agent name. Your second option takes slightly longer, but allows you more options. From you're My Monster home page, click on 'Agents' in the purple bar about 2 inches down from the top of the page. This will take you to a page called Manage Agents. Here you will see a list of all your agents and under each one you will see the following options: VIEW - EDIT - DELETE. To see the results of a particular agent click VIEW under the agent's name. Whichever option you choose, the next page you see will be the results page. If there are jobs on site that match your agent's criteria, a list of job titles will appear on the results page. If no job titles appear, it means there are either no jobs that match in our database, or that no jobs matching your chosen criteria have been posted in the time period that your agent has searched. In which case you may want to extend your search and look for less recent job postings. Below the message "No jobs matched the query" there are two boxes and a button. The first box should list a time period (e.g. "Last 7 days"), the second is blank and the button says 'Search Results'. To search earlier job listings, click on the arrow in the first box and select a time period from the drop-down list that appears. Then click 'Search Results'. Viewing Agent results from your email notification When we email you notifying you that your agent has found suitable vacancies, we include in the email a web address that will take you straight through to the My Monster login page. It looks like this - my.monster.co.uk/agents.asp Click on this link and then follow the steps listed above. 2 Checking the setting of your agent You may also want to check the setting of your agent. To do this, begin at the My Monster home page and follow the same procedure as before - From your My Monster home page, click on 'Agents' in the purple bar about 2 inches down from the top of the page. This will take you to the Manage Agents page. Here you will see a list of all your agents and under each one you will see the following options: VIEW - EDIT - DELETE. Click EDIT. This will take you to a screen where you can edit all elements of your agent. A particularly common task is to change how often you receive email notifications for you agent. To do this, scroll down the screen until you see the area entitled 'Email options'. Here you will have a series of options, each with a white circle next to it. Click in the circle next to the option you want to select it. The circle will be filled with a black dot. That indicates that your selection has been accepted. 3 The link on my email notification will not work. What should I do? If the link on your email notification does not work, then you can check your agent results by logging in to your account through the My Monster area on site. (See "How do I access my agent results" page 2). If you do have problems with the link in your email, please notify us on userservices@monster.co.uk so we can address the problem. 4 The message displayed is 'No jobs matched the query'. What should I do? This could be for 2 reasons. It is possible that there are no jobs in our database that match your criteria at the time. If so, you can change the criteria by editing your agent (see "Checking the setting of your agent"). The second reason could be that you are searching too narrow a time period (say Last 2 days) and it just happens that suitable jobs have not been posted in that period. To search for jobs that were posted less recently, do as follows: Below the message "No jobs matched the query" there are two boxes and a button. The first box should list a time period (e.g. "Last 7 days"), the second is blank and the button says 'Search Results'. To search earlier job listings, click on the arrow in the first box and select a time period from the drop-down list that appears. Then click 'Search Results'. 5 I have been sent email notification, but my account says I have no agents, what should I do? Monster offers its search technology to other sites across the web. These include: If you have signed up for a Search Agent through one of these sites, you cannot access your agent or its results via Monster, you will need to go through the partner site. However the way in which you access the results once you get to the site will be the same as with Monster. If you are unable to establish whether or not you signed up through one of our partner sites, please contact Monster.co.uk on email: userservices@monster.co.uk and we will do our best to help you. 6 I want to cancel my agent. What should I do? Beginning from the My Monster home page follow the same procedure as before - from your My Monster home page, click on 'Agents' in the purple bar about 2 inches down from the top of the page. This will take you to the Manage Agents page. Here you will see a list of all your agents and under each one you will see the following options: VIEW - EDIT - DELETE. Click DELETE. You will then see a grey pop-up box appear asking you to confirm that you definitely want to delete that agent. Once you click YES on that box, the agent will be permanently deleted. For all other queries relating to My monster agent functionality, please contact Job Seeker Support via email: userservices@monster.co.uk
